This is an overview of the Redemptive Gifts of Individuals, CD 5. This is the Exhorters Day.

Exhorter, you are blessed by God with the gift of being a change agent in your world. Inspirational and motivational, you have the capacity to inspire others to do exploits for God. You are designed to put him and his glory on a large stage. I bless you the visionary and release your new ideas, opportunities and truth in Jesus name.

  • Very relational. Enjoys being around people. extroverted. A party looking for someplace to happen.
  • Can cross social, racial, economic religious barriers relating to people where they are.
  • Is a master communicator. Teaches from life experiences and is very practical.
  • Can disagree without alienating people.
  • Will create and sustain relationships at all costs.
  • A great networker, does teamwork well.
  • Has the ability to share his faith easily and in difficult situations.
  • Unparalleled anointing to evangelize.
  • Has a big vision for reaching the world. Is a world changer.
  • Not intimidated by new truth or new ideas.
  • Tends not to govern by principle but by relationship, persuasion and majority opinion of people.
  • Communicates God to people.
  • A master of reconciliation.
  • Works hard and is intensely busy, functioning on little sleep. Involved in many projects.
  • Has wonderful intentions however, falls short in the tyranny of the urgent.
  • Struggles with discipline and time.
  • Sees spiritual lessons, especially in pain and suffering.
  •  Hates to alienate or feel rejected because people matter so much;  can cause immature exhorter to  hold back on speaking the truth.
  • Can surround himself with people willing to cover for his weaknesses.

CREATION- the fourth day parallels the redemptive gift of exhorter

  • God created the sun, moon and stars-celebrating the sheer extravagance, diversity and vastness of this gift.
  • Designed by God to have dominion over time and timing (marking the day and night and the seasons of the year)


  • Jehovah-Shalom, ' The Lord our Peace' (Judges 6:11-24)
  • The story unfolds with Gideon feeling abandoned by God
  • The core issue- can you trust me to deliver you and Israel?
  • He built an altar calling it 'The Lord is Peace'.


  • The candelabra with its oil bringing the light of revelation of the nature of God.
  • God wants this life giving gift to be pure light and not contaminated with soulishness or unholiness.


  • The church of Thyatira in Revelation 2:10-29 mentions the passion of the exhorter for people and God.
  • They are diligent, persevering and achievers.
  • Exposes their dislike of rejection, therefore unwilling to confront.


  • Governs by influence through relationships over a large number of people.
  • Reconciliation to God and others.
  • To broadly spread the knowledge of God to the world.


  • Using God's principles to produce long term change
  • By committing to a long term sowing in their relationship with God, they will reap a harvest of revelation to then share with others.


  • Sowing and Reaping vs Denial
  • Principle of pain and suffering
  • Failure to confront sin
