Jehovah Ra-ah

by lois

so I listened. only a bit over 3 minutes. to our well loved, frequently quoted Psalm 23. (see added bonuses)

i do love the sequence and the cadence of this blessing. the green pastures. the valley of the shadow of death. the table spread..

God is aware and concerned about our physical and emotional state. and yes, that does indeed mess with our desire to move forward the way we would like to.

he knows, he cares. the Lord is our shepherd.

in the midst of great upheaval, he has met me in the waves of the ocean. in the vastness of the sea. the hanging low clouds that drape the sky. (hugs from God!)
he has restored me there. refreshed me there. made me whole. it is the only place i am not in pain. i drink deeply while i am there.

where have you experienced 'the Lord as your shepherd?'

would you like to share it here?

: )

The ocean
by: Sharon

I get refreshed looking at the speaks volumes to my spirit...

I can feel my spirit healing and relaxing.

And even now just thinking about it does the same.

My dream and hope in my older age is to sit in a rocking chair in a house that outlooks the ocean.

Also too listening to blessing my spirit and actually sitting there and taking it in does deep spirit work in my spirit.
