During the 2nd quarter of 2012, I was exposed to Arthur's teaching pertaining to the 'mesmerizing spirit', where he testified of a political situation between what seemed a good and a bad candidate.
This concept gripped my imagination as it brought a new thread into the tapestry of my prayer endeavours. I live in Bloemfontein, South Africa. It was in this 'birthing' city that the ANC (African National Congress) ruling party were to hold their elective conference in December 2012.
Just the year before – January 2011 – we celebrated the birth of the African National Congress in our city of Bloemfontein - where the ANC was birthed!
I received the usual flood of emails - from intercessors all over South Africa - regarding what the Lord was saying about the elections at the elective conference and people were seeking my wisdom as to how to posture themselves in prayer for this occasion.
Enquiring of the Lord, He led me to listen to the 'mesmerizing' teaching again – there was my answer!
I selected 10 people from across South Africa. Nine agreed and I had to make up the gap. I instructed them - as best I could - on the concept of the mesmerizing spirit, repentance of any and all thoughts (positive or negative) concerning the ANC, and asking God to cause His light to shine on and expose to the nation what He wanted to expose.
We 10 (governmental number) agreed to do this for 90 days.
This was a new concept to each of them and they falteringly participated.
I watched and waited in anticipation. What was Father going to expose? Needless to say each one of us were expecting Him to expose something within the ANC!
To my utter amazement, Father did His shining - but not within the ANC!
Father exposed (just before the ANC's weekend conference) the right wing plot to assassinate a number of the ANC leadership at the conference.
Had this plot not been exposed, there is no doubt that we would have been thrown headlong into a bloodbath similar to the genocides experienced elsewhere in Africa.
I have no doubt in my heart that what I learned from Arthur, and implemented with the assistance of 9 friends, saved South Africa from certain war. Glory to our King!
Thank you Arthur.
