June 08, 2016
Welcome to the sapphire-connect newsletter to help you discover a bigger view of GOD.
We had a beautiful long weekend retreat at the end of May on the exquisite south coast of Kiama. The land temps were a tad warmer but the ocean was brisk. (ask me how I know!)
We will definitely be returning again as I think I found a sweet spot there amidst the rolling hills and glorious sea.
now, on to the newsletter...
in this issue:• upcoming events and new releases
• announcing a new birth
• window of reconciliation for June
• among the gum trees

Almost all of Scripture is about blocked calls. Adam was blocked because he had no wife. Abraham was blocked because he had no son. Joseph was blocked because his family did not believe in his calling. Saul was blocked because he did not know how to start a new kingdom. Hosea was blocked because his wife could not receive the love he lavished on her. And God was blocked because His covenant people utterly warped the spirit and the letter of the game plan He created for them.
But for every blockage, there was a solution.
This album presents five different areas which the enemy leverages to block us. In almost every case, his power comes through his stealth approach, and once you have seen what he is doing, it is easy to dislodge the problem and get traction again.
New Office OpensAs of 2015, Sapphire Leadership Group has distributorships in six countries, on four continents and plans for more. The newest office is now officially opened and we welcome to the SLG cluster of companies Birger and Joanna Makatowski, our new distributors in Germany.
Their journey with the Lord has been highly variegated so they bring a wide cross section of skills to the table, as well as the rich flavor of having drunk from many streams of the faith along the way. Their current passions are marriage enrichment and support of Israel.
In keeping with the SLG tradition, why not leave a blessing after checking out their website.

Window of Reconciliation - June
Reconciliation with Land - Focused Repentance
We are days away from June 10th, the beginning of the 20 day window when there is unusual grace for being reconciled to the land.
The first gift God gave man (after the gift of life) was land. Adam was placed on land with borders and a gate, which was defined as his, separate from other land.
The land was immensely life giving to Adam and was intended to be the initial capital for the expansion projects he was ordered to undertake in the future.
In return for this immense gift, Adam had the responsibility to work the garden, presumably to sustain the symbiosis. As he fulfilled his responsibility, he had the privilege of eating from the fruit of God’s gift and his labor.
It is interesting that Adam received the gift of land before he received the gift of a wife. There seems to be a direct connection between the land and the office Adam was implicitly placed in. Luke confirmed that God was officially placing Adam in the office of son. In the genealogy, instead of presenting Adam as the father of all mankind, Luke framed him as the son of God.
Among the Gum Trees
Please give a warm welcome to Alan, a special visitor to sit and chat with us 'among the gum trees'.
HEY ALAN, CAN YOU TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?
I live near Cape Town, South Africa, am married and the father of two boys. I'm a man who is passionate about God and the things of God. I've always had a heart for people and to see them live in the fullness of what God has planned for their lives. I love the outdoors and am lucky enough to both work and live on a Christian Camp where I run the camp programs.
I was saved in 1998. I was a Sangoma (African Shaman/Witchdoctor) at the time and the simple, yet deeply profound, words of a complete stranger walking up to me and saying "Jesus loves you" in a shopping mall radically changed my life. When I gave my heart to Jesus I knew it was either all or nothing and that is how I've tried to live my life.
I always thought I was destined to be a pastor in a church but God had other plans. I've been involved in full time 'Camping ministry' since 2003. I believe Christianity is a life style meant to be lived every day and not just on a Sunday.
I am currently involved in healing and deliverance ministry to those who need it and regularly pray for the sick on the streets, in hospitals and where ever I can in my day to day life.
HOW DID YOU INITIALLY CONNECT WITH SLG?
I really was surprised to be contacted to be interviewed for SLG Australia. I have not had that much of a history with SLG and would have honestly thought there were others out there with a far greater connection. But praise be to God, He obviously had other plans.
I first encountered SLG and Arthur Burk a couple of years ago on a conference. One of the participants I connected with got chatting about Redemptive Gifts and there importance to us and after the conference I dug a little deeper. But it was only a year ago that I really connected on a different level with people who had been listening to and applying SLG teachings on a a deeper level and this then opened the door to my 'life long learner' personality and I connected with others through Facebook.
I met some really phenomenal people who all have a heart for God and for seeing His Kingdom manifest in various ways as a result and I'm grateful to be connected to them and SLG as a whole as a result.
DO YOU KNOW YOUR REDEMPTIVE GIFT AND IF SO CAN YOU GIVE US A GLIMPSE OF HOW THAT PLAYS OUT ON ANY GIVEN DAY?
My three strongest gifts are Exhorter, then Prophet and then Mercy. This fits in perfectly in many ways working in the camping ministry with children and teenagers. I am strongly a natural encourager and like to see people accomplish the tasks set before them and their own goals. It also helps tremendously in a ministry setting giving people faith and hope to continue fighting and not quit. My Prophet side definitely helps in keeping things in
perspective/black and white when it comes to the healing and deliverance ministry but it does not help when people see me as being dogmatic at times. Likewise Mercy is a tremendous gift when working with people who are sick or struggling.
I rarely get on a hobby horse to promote this or that product, unless they are worth their weight in gold. However, just recently, my days of mining have come to an end.
I have been passionate for a very long time about the triune nature of our being; spirit soul and body (and in that order). Having drunk from many different streams of the faith, and appreciating what gifts they had to give, I was hungry for more. When I found Plumbline Ministries (now SLG) many years back now, it didn’t take long before I knew I had found home base. I immediately resonated to this place where the language of my spirit was being spoken, and it was finally able to be unpacked. It was one of the greatest shifts in the timeline of my history.
But the body component has been floundering as I have searched and applied many different avenues of health products from hither and yon. The last I counted I was taking over 10 supplements, and it was getting crazy making to keep this up. I believe prevention is the best medicine, and I have lived in a responsible way as food is my medicine, and exercise and lifestyle all come into play.
Something all along was still missing. I was at a crossroad really, as I was about to embark down the only path I could see; to get a blood panel done for one very low thyroid. The cost was quickly heading toward one grand, and that was just for testing. The lack of peace caused me to stall. Shortly thereafter, through a random face book post, a friend of a friend liking something, and there it was. Uncorked. Again, my spirit was excited, and I followed through to become a brand partner, mostly to try the products at the discounted price. (Just about that time, the market opened up in Australia!)
