A Mother's Day Prayer

My heart recognizes the raw beauty, the strength, the courage and try you find each and everyday..

My heart recognizes the raw beauty, the strength, the courage and try you find each and everyday..

I celebrate each of you today! My heart recognizes the raw beauty, the strength, the courage and try you find each and everyday to be a Mother to your children, your horses, your animals and to others. I am honoured to share community with you:)

I bless your mothering heart, your creative and brave mother heart. I bless your endurance through times and seasons. I bless your failures and messes with love and grace:)

I bless your disappointments with hugs and a choice to sit with you and hear them. I bless your longings with mercy. I bless your desires with goodness. I bless your vulnerabilities with empathy and love. I bless your spirit to receive the sounds of Heaven celebrating the miracle of your gifts of motherhood:) I bless you to receive the love from Abba's heart for you!

I agree with Heaven as it meets our cultural celebration of Mother's Day! I bless you to see with your spiritual eyes the rich garments you are wearing in your journey of motherhood. I see you Mothers and I say you are worthy of love and honour. I say you are enough:)

I bless you and honour you Mother's! Happy Mother's Day!

Redeeming a day...
by: Joan Westaway

As these words of blessing ministered to me just now, my spirit gave a skip and a twirl! I took a deep breath, breathing in the change in the atmosphere.
The crass consumerism that tends to taint celebrations like Mothers Day was given the flick, in a most elecantly efficient way, in the face of the word pictures of God's value of women as Mothers!
Conga line of emancipated Joy!
