Some of you are enjoying the summer heat, while I am still trying to figure out why it is winter here in July. You'd think after all these years in Australia it would compute. So we'll whack up some early Christmas decorations because my nose is as cold as a dog's and call it a day.
now, on to the newsletter...

These podcasts are absolutely fresh manna. I suppose you can deduct from that comment that I purchased all three. Yes, your deduction is correct.
Sometimes, being around SLG is like drinking from a firehose! With podcasts, you get a single, clear, 15-minute teaching once each week as a stand-alone concept that you can absorb, ponder, and then implement in your own playing field.
You pay for six or twelve months from the date of subscription. A new ten to fifteen minute audio file is posted every week, on the same day. It is sent to your designated email address. You can then listen to them as streaming audio from any device. You cannot download them but you can relisten to them as many times as you want once you've subscribed.
You can also purchase any of the previous clips for $2 apiece to add to your subscription.
Almost everything in the podcasts should be new to almost everyone subscribing.
There are three themes to choose from:
Beyond the Horizon
Who Am I?
I am an eager adventurer standing on the threshold between two worlds.
I have an ache and a hunger that will not go away. On the other side of the door is a path that will take me places my mind cannot imagine. It’s a world full of wild promises of encounters with the Creator of the universe. I have no way of knowing what it will do to my life, I only know that I must go. The sweet and terrible mystery of the True and Living God fills my spirit and drives me forward with a relentless hand.
What are the things He is aching to show me that I have never seen? What will I discover about His nature when He breaks my small paradigms and sends my mind reeling? What will happen when my Creator awakens my spirit and imagination to the mysterious wonders of His realms?
I know there are risks. I have no assurances that it will be safe. The familiar smell of home is a comfort and I love the world that I know. But still the door beckons. A safe, comfortable, small life is not what I was made to live. I was made to know and serve and worship a BIG God, a Creator of worlds and dimensions and complexity far beyond my comprehension.
Does your heart ache for the immensity of God? Do you long to see what lies on the other side of the door? The only guarantee we have is that our spirits and minds will grow with awe and worship of our great God and our Lord Jesus Christ. But what a promise! If this is your heart’s cry, there is room on the path for you.
Welcome, fellow Adventurer.

So, have a look and feel free to share your feedback and first impressions.
Sapphire Connection Study Group
I might not have the name down quite yet. I am still tweaking and formulating and bouncing off ideas. However, don't let that put you off!
If you are looking for a place to grow, to be encouraged and to focus on exploring your design more, this may be the place for you.
We will be focusing on one of Arthur's teaching albums with a plan of listening to one CD a week then applying, field testing and coming together to share our findings with the group.
The place and album will soon be announced; we are looking at mid July as a starting date.
Do pray it will all come together in a timely way.
Among the Gum Trees
Please give a warm welcome to Kristan, a special visitor to sit and chat with us 'among the gum trees'.
HEY KRISTAN, CAN YOU TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?
My husband Steve and I have been married for 27 years. We have two grown children and two grandchildren—I LOVE being a grandmother! I love to travel to different countries and experience the land, the people and ethnic food. I am especially drawn to Ruler land. I was born in California and have lived in many different states but my favorite state by far is Virginia (Ruler land, of course!).
Although I love traveling, my batteries are recharged in my flower gardens. I am pretty adventurous and I enjoy being in motion: biking, swimming, hiking, and driving fast cars. I also feel invigorated when I hear the sound of moving water.
HOW DID YOU INITIALLY CONNECT WITH SLG?
I have been very blessed to be a part of a mentoring group where Arthur's teachings were introduced to me. The first teaching was on Nurturing Your Spirit—wow! I think that was the first time I felt my spirit come to the front. From there we studied the Redemptive Gifts and several more studies were built upon that foundation.
DO YOU KNOW YOUR REDEMPTIVE GIFT AND IF SO CAN YOU GIVE US A GLIMPSE OF HOW THAT PLAYS OUT ON ANY GIVEN DAY?
For several years I thought I was a Ruler and I could tell you all about that gift, the building, the principle, etc. but only recently I have discovered that I am really a Mercy design. Both Ruler and Mercy build but the motive is different. The Ruler builds using methods that work while the Mercy is much more inclusive and concerned with causing pain. And that was the big clue that unlocked my design for me. I was building, building, building but inside I was so concerned about who would be hurt. So I would build in such a way that would accomplish the goal with the least amount of pain to anyone. I am now learning about unproductive and productive pain and how to discern the difference between the two so that I can align myself with God and what He is doing.
In every day life, I am a college student. I've gone back to school to become a professional counselor. My campus is a large school set in an urban setting with people from all over the world—I love the diversity and the various cultures! Rather than focusing on all the differences between us, I challenge myself to find some facet of God's design in at least one person within each of my classes and during that semester, bless their spirit around God's design. It is forcing me to see beyond the sin and see God's design within and then to align myself with God and bless that portion of who He is within them.
